Bandipur Mountain Resort
Bandipur Mountain Resort is located in Bandipur village at an elevation of about 1030m on a mountain saddle approximately 700m above the Marsyangdi River Valley. Bandipur is 143 km to the west of Kathmandu and 80 km to the east of Pokhara. Since 1998 it is connected by a 7 km access road from Dumre located along Kathmandu-Pokhara highway.
Bandipur Mountain Resort provides fine views of the area and mountain panorama. On a clear day, one can see Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manasalu and the Ganesh Himal peaks and the view of Marshyangdi River below. Bandipur is an ideal place to experience the peace and tranquility of village life with visits to the surrounding areas by short day-hikes.
