Wangdicholing Hotel is located above the Jakar village. The hotel is a modern typical Bhutanese building. Our room was spacious and very clean. A tropical Bhutanese wood burner is there in each room which makes the room very cosy and warm. The interior of the room is nicely decorated in Bhutanese style, wood-panelled guest rooms done up in traditional style. All rooms are adequately and tastefully furnished using mostly locally sourced materials. All rooms are efficiently heated using Bukhari (traditional wood burning stove) as well as heaters and feature modern bathrooms with hot & cold running water and quality toiletries. Panoramic view of valley is available from balconies and porches those are seasonally festooned with flowers. Other room amenities include: hair dryer, tea / coffee maker, Wi Fi. The hotel also has provision of bon-fire, cultural program, meeting & interaction with learned monks for an insight on Bhutanese Buddhism.
