Bindhyavasini Temple || The center of worship in Pokhara.
After Phewa Lake, if Pokhara is famous for any other sights, then it's the Bindhyavasini Temple. It is the center of religious activity in Pokhara and the surroundings. The temple is situated atop s small hill and can be accessed via stone steps. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti. The park-like grounds offer a fine picnic area, and on Saturdays and Tuesdays when devotees flock there to offer sacrifices take on a festival local flavor. The temple is also popular among the tourists for mountain view and the view of the Pokhara city.
