Dur Tshachu - Tshochenchen || Dur Tshachu – Tshochen
Approx 18km, 6hr. trek/1530 ascent, 1340m descent
From the hot spring, it is a long and steady climb from jungle to Gokthong la (4640m) and descends to a lake at 4220m. From the lake climb again to Juli pass (4700m) with prayer flags and good views of the surrounding mountains. Then it is a long descent past small lakes and yak herders camps to arrive at 3,780m Tshochen.
