In Thanza (Lunana) || Thanza Rest Day
We have to schedule a rest day here because this is also where we change our Yak Drivers from Laya. A contingent day that we need incase the Yak people do not show-up. People of Lunana are not particularly reliable in terms of bringing the yaks in time etc. and more so recently because they have better source of income from hunting around for Caterpillar fungus called Yartsa Gunbu (Cordyceps Sinensis) found in the high altitude grasslands. It is a prized ingredient for traditional Chinese medicine, known to be aphrodisiac. Spend the day to rest or explore around.
