Kila Gompa Nunnery || Cheli La Gompa
Kila Goempa nunnery, also known as Chele la Gompa, is a tranquil retreat far removed from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Nestled on the cliffs beneath Chele Pass at an altitude of approximately 3,500 meters, this sacred site is home to several dozen nuns. The nunnery comprises around seven small temples and several retreat huts, all perched on the dizzying sheer Cliffside, creating a serene and awe-inspiring setting.
