Sera Kora || Circumabulation of Sera Monastery
Sera Kora takes about an hour, starting west from the entrance to the monastery. There are several brightly colored rock-paintings on the route. A side path uphill leads to Choding Hermitage, predating Sera, a retreat of Tshongkhapa. If you continue up from Choding hermitage for an hour or so, you will arrive at Sera Uste with two-storeyed chapel and monks quarters, which affords marvelous views of Lhasa city.
