Thamel is the most popular tourist centre in Kathmandu. Thamel has been the centre of tourist industry for over five decades, starting from the hippie days. All category of food are served in these hotels and restaurants from regional to world class cuisines. Thamel is the city's main nightlife zone. Thamel probably is the best place to enjoy nightlife when you are in Kathmandu.
