Thanza to Danji || Thanza to Danji trek
Approx. 8km / 3-4 hours / 80m ascent
If you wish to complete the two day trek from Thanza to Tshochena in one day, it is possible but it's a long walk at high altitude and it's better to split into two and half-days. The route from Toencha climbs to a large boulder on the hill, and there are excellent views from here of Thanza, Toencha, Chozo and the surrounding mountains. The path then turns east and after a couple of hours of relatively flat and easy walking, the trail enters Danji, with some yak herder's camp. The camp site is nice with often wild blue sheep visiting us.
