Trashiyangtse
Trashiyangtse at average altitude of 1715m is a newly created district of Trashigang. It borders the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The ancient route between east and west Bhutan passed through here. It lies at the headwaters of the Kulong Chhu and the town, although much small is a pretty with the river flowing through it. The drive up to here is also interesting with option to visit sights and villages along the way. The region is center of paper making and the art of making wooden cups and bowls.
