Dear Anand,
Sorry for our delay. Life has been very busy since we returned.
We loved our trip. Bhutan is beautiful, the people, our guide and drivers were very kind and thoughtful. We also had quite an adventure since the monsoon decided to stay longer than anticipated, which has made for a few hairy situations on the road, but some good stories. We were lucky that it did not rain at the time we went to the festival in Bumthang, but it was raining most of the other time while there, which made our trip to Gangtay the adventure. Thank goodness we had a great driver, Kelay that got us out of some scary situations.

We enjoyed everything we did. We wish that we would have had more of an opportunity to be more with the people than always being with other tourists, such as for lunch, etc. This was the first time we have ever been on a tour, we always go places on our own, so it was a bit different than we are used to but we certainly would not have wanted to drive there ourselves.
We did get some beautiful photos and will send you a link when I put some up on my site.
