Dear Anand/Suraj: My trip planning started with meeting Anand who was wonderful in helping to plan my 8 day trip to Bhutan. He was very accomodating and completely organized everything for me. All I had to do is show up. Once I got to the Paro Airport, I was greeted by surely the best tour guide in all of Bhutan, Suraj and also the best driver, Mr. Nedup.

I was worried being a single female traveling alone in a strange country, but Suraj did everything in his power to make sure I enjoyed my trip to the fullest and never felt alone. He even ran through a fire with me so that we could receive 5 blessings. He taught me so much about his country and spoke with such pride about the culture and people that inhabit this small, but serene Land of the Thunder Dragon. I would so highly recommend visiting Bhutan and hope to be able to visit again someday.
